Our charity partner for 2024/2025 is MS Ireland. Over the next 12 months, Aurivo employees will organise fundraising events for MS Ireland as part of Aurivo co-op’s Charity of the Year Programme and the co-op will match employees fundraising to raise a targeted €40,000 for the charity.

The Aurivo Charity of the Year partnership was introduced in 2007 to support charity organisations throughout Ireland, who require much needed funds to ensure the continuation of essential services for worthy causes. This year, Aurivo selected The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland as their charity of choice.

MS Ireland is the national organisation providing information, vital services and support to the MS community. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a progressive neurological condition which affects the central nervous system (CNS) and
disproportionately affects women. An incidence study in Ireland suggested the ratio is 2.7:1 MS is the leading cause of neurological disability in young people.
The average age range in which MS is diagnosed is between 20-40 years of age.
There are over 9,000 people living with MS in Ireland with approximately 1,260 of those people living in our region.
