 Clearway is a caustic based powder used for circulation cleaning of milking machines. Formulated for use in hard and soft water areas, it is primarily a cold wash but can also be used with hot water.

• Specifically formulated for use in hard water areas but also suitable for use in soft water areas.
• Contains high levels of sequestrants and 80% w/w sodium hydroxide

Recommended Usage:

After each milking:  

Clean surface dirt from the clusters and jetters. Thoroughly rinse the plant in clean cold water with 15 litres per unit and run to waste. Make a fresh solution at the rate of 500g product to 100 litres of cold water (0.5%). Draw this solution into the plant. Allow approximately 7 litres to run straight through to waste and circulate the remainder for 7-10 minutes. Flush thorough with cold clean water at 15 litres per unit.

Hot Wash:

Clearway Plus can be used in a hot wash at the same rate (0.5%) of 500 g to 100L of water. Use 10 litres hot water per milking unit, and draw into the plant, discarding the first 7 litres to waste. Circulate the remainder for 7-10 minutes. Hot water should be 70 – 80oC at the start of the cycle and should run not drop below 50oC before end of the cycle. After running to waste, rinse the plant with 15 litres of cold clean water per unit. 

Storage:

Store upright and tightly closed in the original container in a cool dry place away from children, animals, foodstuffs and acids.
