Aurivo are delighted to work with MS Ireland as our charity partner for 2024/25.

Over the next 12 months, Aurivo & Homeland employees will organise fundraising events for the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland as part of the co-op’s Charity of the Year Programme, with Aurivo matching all funds raised by these efforts. 

This year, Aurivo is targeting €40,000 worth of donations for the charity, which provides dementia-specific services and supports in communities across Ireland, and advocates for those living with dementia, and their families and carers.

About MS Ireland:

MS Ireland is the national organisation providing information, vital services and support to the MS community. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a progressive neurological condition which affects the central nervous system (CNS) and disproportionately affects women. An incidence study in Ireland suggested the ratio is 2.7:1 MS is the leading cause of neurological disability in young people.

The average age range in which MS is diagnosed is between 20-40 years of age.
There are over 9,000 people living with MS in Ireland with approximately 1,260 of those people living in our region.
