Lobelia ‘Monsoon’ in full bloom is a sight to behold and a must have in your hanging baskets! Floods of trailing electric blue flowers cascade over the edges of baskets and containers, making for a sparkling display against the green foliage that, as the plant matures, changes to a bronze shaded colour. One of the best trailing plants out there for hanging baskets, or equally as impactful over a low wall or in rockeries where it will trickle over the surface as a spicy ground cover. Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

Growing Information

Lobelia plug plants can be planted directly into flower pouches. For baskets, beds and window boxes, pot up plugs and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions for transplanting at a later date. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise lobelia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final containers in any, well drained soil, in a sunny or semi-shaded position.
