MS Ireland announced as Aurivo’s Charity Partner of the Year 2024/2025

Aurivo Co-operative are delighted to announce a fundraising target of €40,000 for MS Ireland, it’s new Charity Partner of the Year for 2024/25. MS Ireland provides vital information and support services to those living with Multiple Sclerosis which is a condition affecting the central nervous system (CNS). It also provides advice to family members whose loved ones are living with MS.

Aurivo’s 700 employees across its network of 34 Homeland stores, four livestock marts, production plants and HQ are committed to taking part in fundraising efforts and the business has pledged to match all donations raised. Since the Aurivo Charity Partner of the Year initiative began Aurivo has raised a total of €620,000 in donations for 17 charity organisations. These organisations include The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, and Make a Wish. Fundraising activities will include the annual golf tournament, the Killygordon 5km, coffee mornings, raffles and much more.

Commenting on the initiative as a significant source of pride for the Co-operative, Donal Tierney, Chief Executive, Aurivo said:

With the initiative now in its 18th year, it has become a remarkable source of pride for the business. I am delighted to share that this year, we will be working with MS Ireland. MS Ireland provides integral care and support services to the 10,000 people living with Multiple Sclerosis nationwide. With communities at the heart of Aurivo, we are eager to play our part in assisting MS Ireland to provide the best possible care to their service-users.
