For world Therapeutic Horticulture Day on 18th May 2024, Homeland Ballaghaderreen were delighted to sponsor HSE Sligo ID service user Conan Teyssou with some sensory plants and a dwarf cornet apple tree so he could start his garden.
The apple tree that Conan planted has two varieties of fruit : James Grieve and Elstar. A beautiful sensory window box was created by Conan and Kevin with a mixture of scented herbs lemon balm, thyme and lavender.
